The Hudson Valley’s premier art & crafts show takes place every Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend at the Ulster County Fairgrounds in New Paltz NY.
Since our first show Labor Day Weekend, 1982 —the Woodstock-New Paltz Art & Crafts Fair has attracted the finest artists and craftspeople from across the United States, and has become "a destination" for the discerning collector of quality art and fine crafts.
At the Woodstock-New Paltz Art & Crafts Fair you can experience one of America's largest variety of art & craft demonstrations, be entertained by the best regionally based musicians, as well as experience the very best the Hudson Valley has to offer in both New York State wines and locally produced handcrafted specialty foods.

ALPACAS TO BE FEATURED WITH
ART GUILD "HANDS ON" DEMONSTRATIONS
This year’s fall show will include an exciting addition to the Fiber Arts Supplies exhibit. KELLOGG'S ALPACAS, of Scio, New York will bring several of their award winning Alpacas to the fair. In addition to exhibiting their hand crafted hats, mittens, socks and clothing line, they will be demonstrating their unique techniques of weaving, knitting and felting with Alpaca wool.
Over the past 32 years, the WOODSTOCK-NEW PALTZ ART & CRAFTS FAIR has emerged as a major east coast venue for high quality juried art and craft work, all represented by the artists themselves. It has also been well acknowledged as a show where one can view a wide variety of demonstrations.
This fall, the fairs will add an additional twist to its usual array of demos, now partnering with the CATSKILL MOUNTAIN ARTISANS GUILD to allow the visiting public a chance to participate in many of the media categories represented at the show. The demonstrations will include wood turning, weaving, fused glass making, spinning, woodworking and more. There will also be separate demonstrations for children of all ages.
Scott Rubinstein (co-director of the fairs with his brother Neil)the Catskill Mountain Artisans Guild, of Margaretville, New York, is one of the most successful guild stores in the Northeast. They screen their artists and craftspeople very carefully. The gallery-store is laid out elegantly with the artists themselves manning the store. It's a great honor to have them onboard for the fairs and we are confident this is just the beginning of an exciting venue for our shows."
